Mr & Mrs Hoverman are on their way to Labuan

Hi Kong Chuan,
Stuart has asked me to reply to you to let you know that we're bringing about 120 slides of school days on a thumb drive for you to add to the slide show. We're currently in Brunei, eating curry puffs and satay (Stuart's loves) but we're due to fly to Jakarta for a week's visit with our daughter on Thursday and then about a week of travelling through Sarawak we think before heading to Labuan. Might be nice if you were still able to include some of the photos of students I have during a big clean up at the end of semester and some very out of focus slides of a play that appears to have Wee Sim How and Robert Lee in it -- something about a duck (probably done during Form 3 I think)....Anyway, if you need to have your slide show finalised before then, I guess we'll just enjoy your creativity.
Take care and have a Merry Christmas... we'll see you in about 2 weeks.
Cheers,
Suzanne Hoverman

Hi Kong Chuan/Richard,

Mary Corkery has asked me to forward the attached pictures to you.

Unfortunately, because of the financial crisis (she has to stay back to
manage the crisis for the organization that she is the director for), she
will not be able to join all of us in Labuan for the reunions in Jan. She
plans to visit in Jan 2010.

See you in January. How's your reunion party coming along?

About GES Labuan

Dear Teachers & Friends,

This blog is set up today 29 July 2009 (7.40 am) and was suggested by Liau Leong Thiam. We are all freshies in this area ... blogging. However, the website providers promise easy to set up procedures and I decided to give it a try. Here it goes and with one name selection GESLABUAN, it was immediately accepted. GESLABUAN stands for our proud Government English School Labuan. Now off we go and hope gradually we can keep in touch in this blog with pictures of past and present that make everybody S..M..I..L..E........

I will try to find time to include photos of our group. Heng Yapp and Kim Chuan, hope you can help in this area.

Cheers.
Kong Chuan
