August 07, 2008 Meeting

Yesterday we had a dinner cum meeting attended by Leong Tiam, Chin Kian, Yeaw Fong, Sim How, Kim Chuan, Chin Chiang, Ah Beng and myself. Just a simple dinner cos everyone suggested 'not too much food for our age'. Of course you hear about Y Fong & his jokes as usual, and we touch a little bit on politics, and exercise & health - a topic that cannot escape when we arrive at this age.
Most important, the meeting formalises some issues with respect to the reunion dinner.
1. Dinner date: 11 January 2009 (Sunday)
2. Dinner venue: Labuan Golf Club restaurant (certified halal for Muslims)
3. Cost per head: RM100
4. Participants can bring along spouses
5. Participation is open to those who are interested whether they were our school seniors or juniors
6. Invited guests include Mr/Mrs Griffiths, Mr/Mrs Hoverman, Ms Mary Cockery/Spouse, Mr/Mrs Torvi, Mr Sunderaj, Mr Patrick Chew and some local ex-teachers.

Positive Response

I sent out this blog's address to a few of us with email addresses and I received responses from 3 of you ... Lee Ng Leng, Koh Chin Kian & Ang Heng Yapp. C Kian sent me his photos to be uploaded in the blog. H Yapp sent me 2 video clips which I am still wondering how to link them to the blog.
Thanks for your positive responses and keep this going as I'll find time to update this blog.
